Final March / Towards the Light

Keenan Johnston While not the slowest or most desolate material Horse Latitudes have conjured over the years, this is a worthwhile introduction to the pitch-black, downtrodden doom of these Finnish occultists. Dual bass guitars and drums anchor the rhythm while a spirited vocal performance and occasional synth line guide you through the darkness. Highly recommended, along with the rest of their catalogue. Favorite track: Final March.
